Faculty positions
The School of Music, Dance and Theatre at Arizona State University seeks a part-time 9-month academic year, non-benefits eligible academic associate to begin in fall 2025 in support of our String Project Program. This position will be located on the Tempe campus, as well as includes remote work.
The School of Music, Dance and Theatre music program on the Tempe campus at Arizona State University invites applications for Faculty Associates to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses online and/or on-campus in dance movement practices, dance education, and/or dance scholarship. These positions are one semester appointments, part time, non-benefits eligible with no tenure implications. A typical Faculty Associate course load is one to two classes per semester. Teaching duties include: preparing course materials, responding to and evaluating student work, and availability for one-on-one assistance (via weekly office hours for on-campus classes and electronically for online classes). The number of courses is contingent upon needs, funding, and sufficient enrollment. Individuals hired as Faculty Associates may not hold multiple, non-benefits-eligible appointments at Arizona State University. Salary is based upon qualifications and assigned teaching load. Anticipated start date is: Fall 2025, session A, B and/or C

The School of Music, Dance and Theatre in the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts at Arizona State University is seeking a Coordinator of Student Affairs and Theatre Course Scheduling. This position is located within the Office of Admissions and Academic Affairs and is supervised by the Manager in that office. The position will work closely with faculty, staff, and students regarding all aspects of student affairs, curricular activities, enrollment management and will provide occasional support to the admissions team.
Position Salary Range:
$42,000 - $44,000: Depends on experience within the posted range.
